Mobile Websites

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but…

… mobile web usage is up. Way up. This is mainly because mobile broadband connections are so much faster and data service is so much cheaper than just five years ago. Smart phones are flooding the market. Everyone is checking their email at dinner and posting Facebook status updates while stuck in rush hour traffic. Maybe you are one of them. So, how is this bad news?

Remember that website you made a couple of years ago? Well, it looks great on your laptop at home. It looks smashing on your 21” monitor at the office. On a mobile phone? Like I said, I hate to be the bearer of bad news.

So, why does it look so bad? It has to do with a lot of technical mumbo jumbo. I could talk to you about mobile stylesheets, cross platform compatibility and progressive browsers. I could even bore you with all the minute details of reduced screen sizes and increased bandwidths. But I won’t. Let’s face it, you don’t really care. You’d just be humoring me. That’s nice but let’s get to the heart of the matter. Let’s get to what you do care about. Fixing your website.

How bad is it? Check. Pull up your site and look at it on your phone. Doesn’t look so good does it? Now pull up mine, http://www.sendyoubusiness.com. See the difference?

How do we fix this problem that you didn’t even know about five minutes ago? First of all, relax. Take a deep breath. I wouldn’t bring up a problem without having the solution. In fact, I have a ton of solutions. I live for solutions. Call me and we’ll get you looking good again. Trust me.
